"Start Where You Are!" is a slowly progressing 4 week strength training class. Progress from very simple bodyweight-only movements to exercises using light handheld weights. Modifications will be available to accommodate all levels. Techniques on how to improve balance will also be discussed.

About the Event

Join LiveStrong coach Sally Braid for this 4 week program. Schedule will go as follows:

Week 1) Basic Strength exercises and balance

Week 2) Building shoulder and upper body strength

Week 3) Protecting the knee joint

Week 4) Hips and Core 

For this class you will need a straight backed chair, whatever weights or resistance bands you may have at home, a mat, sneakers, water and comfortable clothing.
